The Bose QuietComfort Headphones in Sandstone are wireless over-ear noise-cancelling headphones designed for travel, commuting, work, calls, entertainment, and everyday listening. Bose’s hybrid noise-cancelling system combines active electronic noise reduction with passive isolation from the padded over-ear cushions. Quiet Mode provides strong noise reduction for flights, commuting, offices, studying, and other distracting environments, while Aware Mode allows surrounding environmental sound to pass through when situational awareness is important. Custom listening modes can also be configured through the Bose app, including Wind Block for compatible outdoor listening scenarios.

Sound can be personalized through adjustable EQ, with independent controls for bass, midrange, and treble. This gives listeners flexibility to tailor the sound profile for music, podcasts, movies, calls, and other everyday content.

Battery life reaches up to approximately 24 hours per full charge, making the headphones suitable for long flights, workdays, road trips, and extended listening sessions. A 15-minute quick charge can provide up to approximately 2.5 hours of additional playback, while USB-C handles routine charging.

For wired listening, the headphones include a 2.5 mm-to-3.5 mm analog audio cable with an in-line microphone.
