The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds in White Smoke are premium open-ear true wireless earbuds designed for listeners who want personal audio while remaining naturally aware of their surroundings. Unlike traditional in-ear earbuds, the Ultra Open Earbuds do not seal or sit inside the ear canal. Instead, each earbud clips around the outside of the ear, positioning the speaker near the ear opening while leaving conversations, announcements, traffic, and other environmental sounds naturally audible.

Bose OpenAudio technology directs sound toward the listener without requiring an in-ear seal. This makes the earbuds well suited to commuting, walking, office use, exercise, travel, and other situations where maintaining awareness of nearby sounds is important.

Bose Immersive Audio spatially processes conventional stereo recordings to create a broader, more externalized presentation. This can make music and entertainment feel less confined to the immediate position of the earbuds and more spacious around the listener.

The Ultra Open Earbuds are designed around environmental awareness rather than acoustic isolation. Their open-ear construction allows surrounding sounds to remain naturally audible without requiring a separate transparency mode.

Battery life reaches up to approximately 7 hours with standard playback and up to approximately 4 hours with Immersive Audio enabled. Standby time reaches up to approximately 48 hours, while the included charging case extends total listening time to around 26 hours under standard conditions.

A 10-minute quick charge provides up to approximately two hours of playback, making it convenient to restore battery before a commute, workout, meeting, or short trip. The charging case recharges through USB-C.

Bluetooth multipoint allows two compatible source devices to remain connected simultaneously, making it easier to switch between devices such as a smartphone and computer.

Built-in microphones support compatible calls and communication apps, while physical controls provide direct access to playback, volume, calls, and supported listening functions. The Bose app provides adjustable bass, midrange, and treble along with additional device settings and updates.
