The OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera in Silver is a compact Micro Four Thirds camera designed for photographers who want interchangeable-lens flexibility in a lightweight, travel-friendly body. It combines a 20.4MP Live MOS sensor, TruePic IX image processor, 5-axis in-body image stabilization, fast autofocus, up to 30 fps continuous shooting, 4K video recording, an articulating touchscreen, and extensive creative image controls in a portable everyday camera.

Its 20.4-megapixel Four Thirds sensor is paired with the TruePic IX processor to produce detailed still images with broad dynamic range and strong color reproduction. The Micro Four Thirds lens mount keeps the overall system compact while supporting a wide range of interchangeable lenses for street photography, travel, portraits, landscapes, and everyday shooting.

The camera incorporates 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization, helping reduce the effects of camera shake during handheld photography and video recording. Autofocus uses 121 phase-detection points, including cross-type coverage, along with subject tracking and face/eye detection for both human and animal subjects.

For action and fast-moving subjects, the PEN supports continuous shooting up to 30 frames per second at full resolution. Additional computational photography features include focus stacking, HDR, multiple exposure, High Res Shot, and a wide selection of Art Filters and customizable image profiles.

Video capabilities include DCI 4K recording at 24 fps, UHD 4K up to 30 fps, Full HD up to 60 fps, and slow-motion recording up to 120 fps. The camera also supports OM-Log400 recording and a 3.5 mm microphone input for external audio capture.

A 3-inch articulating touchscreen LCD provides flexible framing for high-angle, low-angle, and self-facing shooting. The camera also includes an electronic OLED viewfinder with approximately 2.36 million dots for traditional eye-level composition.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 allow the camera to connect with the OM Image Share app for image transfer, remote shooting, camera control, and smartphone-assisted GPS tagging. USB-C connectivity also allows the camera to function as a webcam for compatible computer applications.

The compact body measures approximately 5 × 2.9 × 1.7 inches and weighs about 14 ounces with the battery installed, making it suitable for travel and everyday carry without giving up interchangeable-lens capability.
