The OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera with 14-42mm III and 40-150mm R Lenses in Black is a compact Micro Four Thirds camera kit designed to cover a broad range of everyday photography needs, from landscapes and street photography to portraits, wildlife, travel, and video. It combines a 20.4MP Live MOS sensor, TruePic IX image processor, 5-axis in-body image stabilization, 121-point phase-detection autofocus, up to 30 fps continuous shooting, 4K video recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, an articulating touchscreen, and two interchangeable zoom lenses in a lightweight, versatile system.

The camera body uses a 20.4MP Four Thirds sensor paired with the TruePic IX image processor to deliver detailed still images and flexible video capture. Its Micro Four Thirds format helps keep both the camera and compatible lenses relatively compact while supporting a wide range of shooting styles.

A 5-axis sensor-shift stabilization system helps reduce the effects of camera shake during handheld photography and video. Autofocus combines contrast detection with 121 phase-detection points, all cross-type, and supports subject tracking for moving subjects.

For action and fast-moving subjects, the PEN supports continuous shooting at up to 30 frames per second at full resolution. Creative tools include High Res Shot, focus stacking, HDR, multiple exposure, customizable color and monochrome profiles, and a broad selection of Art Filters.

Video recording includes DCI 4K at 24 fps, UHD 4K up to 30 fps, Full HD up to 60 fps, and slow-motion capture up to 120 fps. A 3.5 mm microphone input supports external audio capture, while USB-C and Micro-HDMI provide additional connectivity.

The included M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 III provides a 28-84mm full-frame-equivalent focal range, covering wide-angle through short telephoto perspectives. Its compact retractable design and 4.4-ounce weight make it well suited for travel and everyday shooting.

The second included lens, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R, extends the kit into telephoto territory with an 80-300mm full-frame-equivalent range. This makes it useful for portraits, wildlife, sports, distant subjects, and compressed-perspective compositions.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 allow the camera to connect with the OM Image Share app for image transfer, remote control, Live View shooting, and smartphone-assisted GPS tagging. The camera can also function as a webcam through USB-C.
