Product Description:
The OM SYSTEM PEN Mirrorless Camera with 14-42mm III Lens in Silver combines a compact Micro Four Thirds camera body with a versatile standard zoom lens for everyday photography, travel, street shooting, portraits, landscapes, and video. The camera features a 20.4MP Live MOS sensor, TruePic IX image processor, 5-axis in-body image stabilization, 121-point phase-detection autofocus, up to 30 fps burst shooting, 4K video recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and an articulating touchscreen display.
The included M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 III lens provides a 28-84mm full-frame-equivalent focal range, covering wide-angle through short-telephoto perspectives in a compact retractable design. Three aspherical elements help reduce distortion and spherical aberration, while the rounded 7-blade diaphragm supports smooth background blur.
The PEN body uses 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization to help reduce camera shake when shooting handheld. Autofocus combines contrast and phase detection with 121 cross-type points, along with subject tracking and face/eye detection capabilities for still photography and video.
For fast-moving subjects, the camera supports continuous shooting at up to 30 frames per second at full resolution. Additional computational photography tools include High Res Shot, focus stacking, HDR, multiple exposure, and a broad selection of creative Art Filters and customizable image profiles.
Video recording includes DCI 4K at 24 fps, UHD 4K up to 30 fps, Full HD up to 60 fps, and slow-motion recording up to 120 fps. The camera also supports OM-Log400 and includes a 3.5 mm microphone input for external audio recording.
A 3-inch articulating touchscreen LCD supports flexible framing from different shooting angles, while the approximately 2.36-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder provides an alternative eye-level composition method.
Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 provide connectivity with the OM Image Share app for image transfer, remote camera operation, Live View control, and smartphone-assisted GPS tagging. USB-C connectivity can also be used for power and compatible webcam operation.
The camera body measures approximately 5 × 2.9 × 1.7 inches and weighs approximately 14 ounces with the battery installed, while the included 14-42mm lens weighs approximately 4.4 ounces, keeping the overall kit compact and easy to carry.
